Um.. so, I was up at 3am again and I was on Twitter as I am wont to do when I can't sleep... and I saw Marriland's posting of some of the new pokemon for X & Y.

In other news, I caught a female axew and named her Chloe. So far she is doing ok. :) In sims news.. well.. my sister's computer borked this morning, and I haven't checked yet but I hope my simmies are ok. :/

A new quest was released in Runescape on Tuesday. I finished it a short while ago. You know what it was about? BACON! :D

A farmer named Eli Bacon asked Mindie (my character) to try some of his cooked meat and she thought it was GREAT! But she was disgusted when she found out it came from pigs! Pigs are only good for ceremonial mud wrestling in Runescape. No other use. There's hardly any pigs because no one knows what to do with them.

A plan was concocted to make a special pig that will inspire others to raise pigs so the secret of Bacon could be told and people can eat the pigs and they won't go extinct. :)

I raised a piglet (really really fast. :P ) that could carry things like extra sharks and granite boulders that I have too many of to fit in my pockets. I named him Mr. Pickles and showed him around the cities and people cheered and decided they wanted pigs to carry boulders too. :)

As a reward, I got to keep Mr. Pickles as my pet and I can collect raw bacon from Eli every week. :)

I learned something about pigs in the quest too. Pigs will eat people. :)

I've seen Ecco The Dolphin mentioned a couple times on here, and with the Steam Sale going on, I'll let everyone know that it's $1.49. It runs fine on Windows 7 Pro and Home. It's also in a Sega Genesis Classic Pack in which you get 10 games for $3.50 right now. :)

They also have Ecco Jr. and Ecco: Tides of War for the same.

That's right - it's Steam Summer Sale time!

Even if you're not already familiar with Steam, if you have an interest in playing games on your PC, I'd highly recommend looking into it. The sale will continue for the next 11 days, and is renowned for making popular games dirt cheap (and consequently rinsing your wallet). It's an experience that shouldn't be missed!
