Joycon / Analog Stick Drift

seleneheartHello! I'm new to this community and I just discovered it! I'm obsessed with Nintendo Switch as a gaming platform. It's the first one I've bought for myself since the PS2.
I've just sent in the left joycon from two different Switches (mine and kid's) to Nintendo for repair. The kid claims that the ProController for the Switch never experiences drift.
But from what I've read various places, *any* analog stick will eventually drift, and the solution is third party controllers that use magnets. (I forget where I first saw the post, The Verge maybe? Or Ifixit?)
Does anyone have experience with third party controllers with the Switch?
