Introductory post

Salutations fellow gamers!

I'm a hardcore casual player and I like a variety of games even though I'm bad with most of them. I have this horrible tendency to lose interest in a game for a while and then play it again for a few weeks only to lose interest again. I have such a bad habit of gaming hopping, I threw away the idea of possibly doing "let's plays" on YouTube. I'm a big fan of MMOs despite primarily playing them alone. For a while I was big into World of Warcraft and the original Guild Wars but I have since moved on from those two and invest a fair amount of time into Defiance and Guild Wars 2 (though not lately).

I own an Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, and a 3DS XL and I play those whenever I feel the mood to. My primary source of gaming relies heavily on my computer, I have always been and probably always will be a PC enthusiast for gaming. PC gaming gives me the customization that I crave and the cheats to let me just enjoy the game without going, "Oh hell, I'm going to die again." Instead, I get to go into battle swinging a fish atop a Shetland pony while beating the hell out of a seasoned war general.

Currently I'm investing some of my time into:

Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS)
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC)
Scribblenauts Unlimited (both PC and 3DS)
Deponia (PC)
And the newly acquired, as of today, Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, and 3! (Damn you Steam sales!)

I also have an unabashed love for the Sims and it shames me to say I haven't played it in a few months.

I sparingly play Saints Row: the Third with my boyfriend whenever he's not playing Warframe.

Maybe some of these Sim posts will create interest again? :) I'd love to see what your Sims are doing. :)

Alas no, I was deeply invested in beating that general to death with said fish to remember to take a screenshot. :(

I make my Sim some sort of harlot because it amuses me. Though I need to buy the latest expansion for the Sims, Island Paradise.

While I haven't played the Last of Us personally and have only ever watched someone else play it, your icon of Ellie is just wonderful. I adore that girl and her smart ass attitude.

I haven't played the game yet, either. I found the icon through an icon community and couldn't resist nabbing it. She looks so hopeful :)

It's really a beautiful game and definitely has heart wrenching moments. I'm willing to admit that one part almost brought me to tears. x.x
